The Kyoto Conference (京都会議)

The Kyoto Conference is a common name of the conference which is held in Kyoto (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture). Since there is Kyoto International Conference Center in Kyoto City, many conferences has been held in Kyoto. The famous conferences are as follows.

The Kyoto Conference of the Conference on Disarmament (the 1st conference was held in April 1989, the latest conference was the 6th one held in August 2005)

The 45th Committee on Science and General Assembly of International Whaling Commission (May 1993)

The 8th Conference of Parties of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (May 1996)

The 3rd Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (December 1997)

Adopted the Kyoto Protocol.

The 22nd World Heritage Committee (December 1998)

Determined the registration of the cultural properties in Nara, an ancient capital of Japan.

The Kyoto Conference of Junior Chamber International Japan

One of the annual general assembly of Junior Chamber International Japan which is held at the third weekend of January every year.
